Parking on 12-13 May at the Theobald court car park

During the upcoming weekend (12-13 May) there will be some construction work taking place in the car park at Theobald Court. For health and safety reasons, we would like to ask the parents to be careful around the construction work and scaffolding while using the car park during that time.

OCR AS Examination revision material

Next week, many students will be sitting their external Mathematics AS examinations for OCR. Although a number of schools have opted out of external ASs, some schools have decided that students will sit their external AS exams. If your child is sitting these exams next week, we would like to remind parents that the exam board has recently released a large amount of practice material that will help students prepare for the exam.

We have uploaded these to our website for easier access, along with other past papers and worksheets:

As ever, we’d recommend that students complete the revision material and sample papers published by their exam board, before moving on to other past papers and mocks found online.

We hope you find this useful and best of luck in the upcoming exams!

Good luck!

Milda, our lead English tutor, would like to wish all her CIE IGCSE students all the very best for their first examination this afternoon!

Best of luck, guys!

Advice for students sitting GCSE Mathematics

With the GCSE examinations having started, we would like to share some of our advice to GCSE candidates and their parents.

Our strongest advice is to first make sure that your son or daughter has attempted all the standardised papers provided by the exam board before attempting additional papers. Your child’s time is incredibly precious this close to exams, and it is of paramount importance (both for their confidence and academic preparation) that they are completing mathematics of a suitable standard. For students preparing for their GCSE Mathematics exams, we have put together a list of standardised Mathematics papers provided by the various exam boards – please find below a link to our GCSE and IGCSE resources page.
