Trefoil Tutors was established in 2011 with a mission to bring a new level of professionalism to tutoring. Providing outstanding teaching and learning and enriching a student’s educational experience are at the forefront of all that we do.
We offer specialist small group tuition for Years 3 to 13, in order to augment and support the teaching that students receive in school.

All too often, tutoring is seen as an additional job. Our team see tutoring differently - we approach it as a vocation in itself. We aim to professionalise all we do, both with regards to our tutoring and our administrative procedures. We use the exceptionally high standards of top Independent and Grammar Schools as the benchmark we hold ourselves to.

To support our students' preparations for their 11+ examinations, our Lead Mathematics Tutor, Vivek Gathani, would like to share a selection of problem-solving questions with answers he has written for his students.
Parents often enquire about practice questions similar in type and difficulty to those found towards the middle and end of Independent School papers. The sets of questions Vivek has prepared pick up on techniques we teach our students in lessons in the run-up to these examinations. Founded in 2011 with the aim of bringing a new level of professionalism to tutoring in North London, Trefoil Tutors provide group lessons which follow structured courses designed to support and augment the work studied in school as well as help students prepare for 11+, GCSE and A Level examinations.
At Trefoil Tutors, we are incredibly proud of the quality of teaching and learning we deliver across a range of different subjects. In our small group lessons, our team of qualified teachers and experienced tutors aim to augment and support the work done by schools. Students are taught according to a structured scheme of work and are given weekly homework assignments and regular assessments which are all prepared in-house by our tutors, with weekly individual feedback provided to parents via our personalised online portal.
Currently tutoring over 330 students in the North London area, we are very proud to see that our students are achieving outstanding results. We are grateful that 100% of our surveyed parents would recommend Trefoil Tutors to a friend.

The Half Term break is an excellent opportunity for students to pursue their reading interests without the constraints of a usual school timetable.
In order to encourage students to explore different authors, styles and genres, as well as help them develop a love of literature, our Lead English Tutor Milda has compiled a list of twelve book recommendations for each year group from Year 3 to Year 11. The books on the list range from timeless classics to recent releases. As they go through the list, students will become familiar with the work of world-famous writers and meet iconic book characters.
