Trefoil Tutors was established in 2011 with a mission to bring a new level of professionalism to tutoring. Providing outstanding teaching and learning and enriching a student’s educational experience are at the forefront of all that we do.
We offer specialist small group tuition for Years 3 to 13, in order to augment and support the teaching that students receive in school.
Our business is based on three foundational values: Personal, Passionate, Professional.
Being a tutor at Trefoil Tutors goes far beyond providing a platform for outstanding teaching and learning. Our tutors are seen as mentors to students as much as they are teachers. Getting to know students and their families during their time with us is a cornerstone of what we hold to be important and is paramount in ensuring we can communicate effectively with our clients.
At Trefoil Tutors, we are equally committed to sharing our subject knowledge as well as our love of the subjects we teach with our students. Making lessons dynamic, interesting and engaging helps us develop an enjoyment of the subject and promote life-long learning in our students. We are unashamedly geeky!
All too often, tutoring is seen as an additional job. Our team see tutoring differently - we approach it as a vocation in itself. We aim to professionalise all we do, both with regards to our tutoring and our administrative procedures. We use the exceptionally high standards of top Independent and Grammar Schools as the benchmark we hold ourselves to.

In this week's Senior Tutor Update video, Vivek begins by congratulating everyone on such a productive and successful Term. Vivek reminds us that although the last lessons of the Term have been taught, the office and tutor team are in for an extra week conducting parent report calls and preparing for the start of the Spring Term. Vivek informs parents that they will be receiving two emails this week; one at the start of the week informing everyone that the Term has ended and a second towards the end of the week containing the newsletter and holiday work. Vivek waves farewell to our Year 6 students who will be completing their 11+ journey at the end of this Term but reminds them to keep in touch with regards to interview preparation, making your mind up conversations and the Year 6 reunion event in the Spring Term. Finally, Vivek thanks parents and students for their Christmas gifts, cards and wishes.

In this week's Senior Tutor Update video, Vivek reminds parents and students that this is the last teaching week of the Term at Trefoil (although many schools will still have a further week). Two weeks ago, Vivek urged us all to make the most of the final three weeks of term and he now reflects on how well students have taken this advice on. Vivek wishes students good luck in their revision for end-of-term assessments, the 11+ examinations as well as university interviews. Vivek ends by providing three reminders: parent report call bookings deadline on Saturday of Week 12, the registration deadline for Spring Term lessons has now passed and an email has been sent out regarding feedback for the Summer Lessons.
