Magdalene College Cambridge Arts and Humanities essay competition for 2026 is currently open. It is open to Year 12 students attending state-maintained schools in the UK, the prizes aim to encourage ambitious and talented students in the Arts and Humanities subjects to explore their interests further, with the hope that they will be encouraged to read these or related subjects at University.
The Essay Competition has a First Prize of £300, a Second Prize of £200, and a Third Prize of £100. Winners will be invited to a prize-giving ceremony at Magdalene in the summer. The deadline for submissions is on Sunday, 26th April 2026 at 23.59 pm. To find out more about the competitions and how to apply please follow the link below:
