We are delighted to confirm we are running Mathematics and English mock examinations for pupils who are preparing to sit 11+ entrance examinations to independent schools in January 2020.
The mock examinations are modelled on 11+ entrance examination papers to independent schools in the area.
The Mathematics mock examination papers are written by Vivek Gathani, our lead Mathematics tutor who helped write and mark the 11+ entrance examinations when teaching at Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' School.
The English mock examination papers are written by Milda Gathani, our lead English tutor who has been preparing pupils for 11+ entrance examinations to grammar and independent schools since 2013.
The mocks will take place at our premises in Elstree (5 Theobald Court, Theobald Street, WD6 4RN).
Each 2-hour-long exam session will contain:
– an introduction to the paper structure by the tutor;
– a brief Q&A session for the students about the 11+ process;
– sitting the 60-minute-long examination;
– a 15 minute break while the tutor marks the papers;
– a review of the paper highlighting common mistakes.

Students have the opportunity to sit four different mock examination papers for Mathematics and English:

Each mock exam will be attended by no more than 8 pupils at a time. The papers will be marked and returned to the students the same day.
The cost of attending a mock exam is £75 (incl. VAT) for one examination in either Mathematics or English. The cost of attending both a Mathematics and an English mock examination is £150 (incl.
