We would like to wish all our students a very merry Christmas holiday! With those dark nights stretching out and cosy winter days filled with festive potential, we thought we would share some of our favourite ways to spend the holidays, and new places that we are all looking forward to exploring!
There’s nothing quite like the scents and sounds of a Winter Market, and the Southbank Centre is a wonderful place to kindle those festive feelings. With dazzling decorations, and all sorts of interesting little stalls, it’s the perfect way to spend a December afternoon.

The London Wetland Centre has created a new, illuminated trail designed to bring us closer to nature during these cold months. Follow the glittering sculptures as art and the natural world coincide to bring us something truly beautiful.

4.Listen to the LSO: Leon and the Place Between
Transport your family to a place where magic is brought to life by composers and musicians. Leon and the Place Between is an online concert which uses the instruments of the orchestra to tell this wonderful story by Angela McAllister. Illustrated by Grahame Baker-Smith, the sights and sounds together will take us all to the magical Place Between.
