Lucy, May 3, 2023
National Share-A-Story Month commences today. The Federation of Children’s Book Groups created this month-long celebration in 1998 to appreciate the power of storytelling and story sharing, which provides opportunities to bring children and stories together.
The theme for May 2023 is ‘Sail Away in a Story!’ where readers are encouraged to find books and stories that sail them to a new adventure.
To help students find interesting books, our Lead English Tutor Milda has compiled a list of twelve book recommendations for each year group from Year 3 to Year 11. The books on the list range from timeless classics to recent releases. As they go through the list, students will become familiar with the work of world-famous writers and meet iconic book characters.
