Trefoil Tutors is an award-winning tuition provider offering specialist small group tuition for Years 3 to 13, in order to augment and support the teaching that students receive in school. We are recognised as the Best Tuition and Educational Support Provider in the South East region by the UK Enterprise Awards.
Summer Lessons at Trefoil Tutors are for students who have just completed Year 4 and Year 5, as well as students who are taking Mathematics and Further Mathematics at A Level. These lessons are not stand-alone summer revision courses but rather a continuation of the scheme of work for our existing students.
These lessons are of paramount importance for 11+ students who are preparing to sit Grammar School examinations in September and Independent School examinations at Christmas. Furthermore, they are required for our A Level Mathematicians and Further Mathematicians to ensure the full course is taught in time for their final examinations at the end of Year 13.
Running these lessons at Trefoil means that parents of our tutees do not need to look for revision crash courses during the summer months, thus minimising stress and misconceptions that can arise from different teaching styles.
These lessons are run in the last three weeks of August. Over the course of these three weeks, each student will attend six 90-minute-long lessons, each subject taught twice a week.
The benefit of these lessons has been reaffirmed by the uplift in our outstanding 11+ and A Level results since 2020.
