We are glad to announce that this August, October, November and December, we will be running English, Mathematics and Reasoning mock examinations for 11+ students preparing for Grammar and Independent School examinations in September 2022, December 2022 and January 2023.
The Mathematics mock examination papers are written by our Lead Mathematics Tutor, Vivek Gathani, who helped write and mark the 11+ entrance examinations when teaching at Haberdashers' Boys' School.
The English mock examination papers are written by our Lead English Tutor, Milda Gathani, who has been preparing pupils for 11+ entrance examinations to Grammar and Independent schools since 2013.
The Reasoning mock examination papers are written by our Director of Studies and Reasoning and Science Tutor, Rebecca Muhley. Rebecca is a qualified teacher with over ten years of teaching experience.
The mocks will take place at our premises in Elstree (5 Theobald Court, Theobald Street, WD6 4RN), with the following availability:

Saturday 26th of November at 4pm-6pm (General) – This mock examination is adapted to the General Paper format used at Merchant Taylors’ School in the past years.
Saturday 3rd of December at 4pm-6pm (Reasoning, Mathematics and English) – This mock examination is adapted to the new format used at Haberdashers’ Boys’ School in the past two years.

Each 2-hour-long exam session will contain:
Each mock exam will be attended by no more than eight pupils at a time. The papers will be marked and returned to the students the same day.
The cost of attending a mock exam is £75 (incl. VAT) for one examination.
We are pleased to offer a discounted price of £60 (incl. VAT) per examination to Year 6 students who are currently attending face-to-face or online lessons with us during the Autumn Term.
Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
