Today marks the coronation of King Charles III and his wife, Queen Consort Camilla.
The ceremony at Westminster Abbey will commence at 11am after the royals arrive in procession from Buckingham Palace.
After the ceremony, more members of the royal family will join the procession back to the Palace. The King and Queen Consort will then conclude the day’s events on the balcony of Buckingham Palace with their family members.
The coronation will be broadcasted on a number of news channels throughout the day.
Celebrations are due to take place across the whole weekend, including a Coronation Concert at Windsor Castle on Sunday, 7th May, and a Bank Holiday titled ‘The Big Help Out’ on Monday, 8th May, where citizens are encouraged to volunteer in their local area.
