The Primary Maths Challenge commences this week, with Year 5 and Year 6 students competing for gold, silver and bronze certificates across the country.
This challenge, created by The Mathematical Association is intended to encourage enthusiasm, boost confidence in Mathematics and show the different ways questions can be asked. The association, as well as Trefoil Tutors, believes in the importance of problem solving as a means of helping pupils develop their reasoning skills.
Remember that it is not an exam, but a challenge - so stay calm and enjoy the process.
