Today, we begin celebrating National Storytelling Week!
National Storytelling Week takes place every year and is a celebration of the power of sharing stories.
In 2023, 39.4% children and young people said they enjoyed listening to audio either very much or quite a lot. To celebrate National Storytelling Week, taking place from 27th January to 4th February 2023, the National Literacy Trust have created a fantastic programme of events and resources that will take children on a journey from listening to stories to becoming young storytellers themselves.
