The Oxford University Mathematics Festival takes place on the weekend of Saturday, 13th May and Sunday, 14th May.
This festival was first held in 2018 after undergraduates who had attended the Ireland Maths Week were inspired to organise something similar in their community. This year will mark the festival’s 5th anniversary!
The festival aims to showcase the surprising and unexpected sides of Mathematics, allowing families to do Maths together in a friendly and relaxed environment. There will be a wide range of events available over the weekend; with something for everyone to enjoy. Some of the activities available include talks, workshops, craft sessions, board games and hands-on maths.
