‘There is a lot of support with the teaching here at Trefoil Tutors. If I want to make my lessons better there are seminars the tutors can attend and there are ways in which the teachers here can help you become better. Not only am I teaching, but I am also improving my own skill set, which I feel is very valuable in the long term.’

‘Trefoil is a very professional working environment. It gives you the ability to teach something that you love to students who really need your help. Its allows you as the tutor to make the decisions for when you want to tutor yourself and the timings that best suit you. It is very user friendly and provides the best working environment for the tutee.’

'With the accelerated group lessons, we move through the topics quicker than we would in school. This also helps a lot when we start the topics in school and I already know how to do it, so I find it easier. Vivek explains everything really well!'

We’ve had a great experience with Trefoil Tutors for our sons. They’ve built up a good understanding of mathematical concepts and as a result I believe they’ve improved a great deal in school, but most importantly they’ve been happy going to lessons and have comfortably managed school work and assignments set by Trefoil Tutors, so it’s been a win-win for them in every respect.

My son has known Mr G since the age of 11, he was his former maths teacher at HABS. He is now a year ahead of his age [at school], and we used Mr G's lessons to help him bridge that gap, but he enjoyed the lessons so much that he's continued working with him. The lessons have given him a great deal of confidence and he’s got the belief he can achieve the top grade in maths. I asked my son what is different about the way Mr G teaches maths to the way maths is taught at school; he said Mr G has a fun way of teaching complex topics.

With most students starting their Christmas break next week, now is a great time to catch up on some reading. To help students choose their holiday read, our lead English tutor Milda has recommended a variety of books suitable for students of different ages. Bearing in mind that the Christmas break is a time to be shared with family, all the recommended books are ones that have also been turned into films - which means that the whole family can enjoy them this Christmas!
