VIVEK GATHANI - LEAD MATHEMATICS TUTOR
Vivek founded Trefoil Tutors in 2011 with the aim of bringing a new level of professionalism to tutoring. Vivek is the company’s Senior Tutor, Lead Mathematics Tutor and Designated Safeguarding Lead. With a BSc Mathematics degree from the University of Warwick and a PGCE in Mathematics from the University of Oxford, Vivek has over 14 years’ experience in private tuition as well as four years’ experience of teaching Mathematics at Haberdashers’ Boys’ School.
MILDA GATHANI - LEAD ENGLISH TUTOR
Milda is our Registrar, Lead English Tutor and Deputy Safeguarding Lead. Milda has a BA(hons) Politics degree from the University of York and an MSc in Conflict Resolution and Governance from the University of Amsterdam. Milda is an outstanding full-time tutor with over five years of experience in private tutoring and ten years of working with educational youth charities in the UK and abroad. Milda tutors English Language and Literature to pupils from Y3 to GCSE.
REBECCA MUHLEY - LEAD SCIENCE AND REASONING TUTOR
Rebecca is our Director of Studies and Lead Science and Reasoning Tutor. Rebecca has a BSc (ARCS) in Biochemistry from Imperial College, London, a PGCE through the Teach First Programme and a postgraduate qualification in Educational Leadership from the Institute of Education. With 10 years of teaching experience, Rebecca comes to Trefoil from her role as Director of Science at Verulam School in St Albans.
DR CHRIS SEAR – TUTOR OF MATHEMATICS AND FURTHER MATHEMATICS
Chris joins us having completed a PhD in Applied Mathematics at the University of Cambridge. With an impressive academic career in the field of Mathematics, Chris has spent four years running small group teaching sessions for undergraduate Cambridge mathematicians. With an approachable and engaging teaching style, Chris has been commended by our students as a tutor who is able to explain complex Mathematics in a clear and accessible format.
KISHAN GANATRA – TUTOR OF ENGLISH
Currently pursuing a PGCE in English (Secondary) at the UCL Institute of Education, Kishan teaches English to our Year 4 students as they prepare for 11+ examinations. Kishan is a scholar of the Haberdashers' Boys' School and a recent graduate from the University of Nottingham with a BA in English. Kishan is a conscientious and engaging tutor who strives to help his students fulfil their potential.
NEIL LODHIA - TUTOR OF BIOLOGY
Currently pursuing a degree in Medicine at King’s College London, Neil is a tutor who is closely familiar with the amount of work involved in achieving top grades having achieved excellent results throughout his own academic career as a scholar of Mill Hill School. Passionate about Biology and closely familiar with the updated curriculum, Neil tutors our A Level Biology students.
MICHAEL COOLEY – TUTOR OF ECONOMICS
A Level Economics lessons are taught by Michael, who joins the team having been a freelance Economics tutor for the last four years. Previous to this, Michael has completed an Economics degree from the University of Edinburgh, as well as Chartered Accounting qualification whilst working as a finance analyst. Michael teaches the A Level Economics course to Year 12 and Year 13 students.
