We are delighted to share with you the positive feedback contributed by the parents of students who have attended our group lessons and found these enjoyable and beneficial to their learning.
“We’ve really enjoyed the group setting. We’ve always done one-to-one tutoring, so we were a little bit hesitant, but actually it’s worked out really well. We found that in a small group setting where there are no more than eight students, they can bounce ideas off of each other, but also, there is one-to-one time because it’s such a small class. It worked out really well and we’re very happy.

With exam season upon us, Year 11 and Year 13 students are in the final stages of preparing for their GCSE and A Level examinations. This can be an incredibly stressful time for not only students but also their parents and it can often be challenging to strike the right balance between revision and respite in the coming weeks. To help support revision in our respective subjects, the Lead Tutors at Trefoil Tutors have written subject-specific advice for all of our students outlining how to best prepare for their upcoming examinations. This should act as a guide and help both reinforce and build upon the strategies already being used to ensure academic success. We hope students will find this a useful resource in structuring their revision time and tailoring their revision approach in order to prepare for the upcoming examinations.
Wishing all our students well during this revision period!

As we are approaching the end of the academic year, we hope you have found our lessons beneficial and enjoyable. Over the coming weeks, we will be collecting feedback from our current students and their parents.
We would be very grateful if you could spend five minutes of your time completing a short feedback questionnaire on your experiences of working with us. Parents of our current students will have received an email containing a link to the questionnaire form, as well as instructions on where to find the form via the online portal. Students will receive feedback forms from their tutor in their upcoming lessons.
We appreciate all feedback in order to continue improving the way we work with our tutees and their parents and look forward to hearing your thoughts.
Thank you in advance for your time!

We are delighted to share with you the positive feedback contributed by the parents of students who have attended our group lessons and found these enjoyable and beneficial to their learning.
“Kiani has been doing Science lessons with Rebecca. I have personally found that Rebecca has really helped Kiani understand the gaps in her knowledge and taught how to answer questions correctly and intelligently. She has been really open with Kiani and they have been able to have friendly conversations about Kiani’s work. Certainly, when I’ve had the feedback online and over the phone, she has given us really good advice, and mentioned areas where Kiani had developed and where she still needed to improve. I think Rebecca has been incredible.”

“The online portal is very useful. It is useful having access to download all of the class materials, as well as the summer resources. I go there a lot if the children have lost something or just to print off an extra copy of the work.
The progress reports are excellent, you also get a notification when the feedback comments are available, then you follow the link and it’s all there. If you want to go back and compare to see how they did four or five weeks ago, the historic feedback is all there too. With the progress, you can track how they’ve done in their assessments and you can see it in the graphs, with both the average marks and the comments in one place. Everything is recorded and it’s great to be able to track how your child is performing.”

Mental Health Awareness week commences today, with the theme “Movement: Moving more for our mental health”.
Research has shown that regular physical activity can make us happier and healthier. Our bodies release feel-good hormones when we're active, which can reduce anxiety and stress and help us sleep better. By building movement into our working day, we can have a positive impact on productivity and focus.
The Mental Health Foundation offers some useful advice and provides downloadable resources about mental health as well as advice on becoming a Mental Health First Aider:
