We would like to take this day to celebrate the important men in our lives! Not only is November Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, but today is International Men’s Day.

The theme of this year’s International Men’s Day is “Zero Male Suicide”; the focus is to celebrate worldwide the positive value men bring to the world, their families and communities, and to highlight positive role models and raise awareness of men’s well-being.

NATIONAL ANTI-BULLYING WEEK

Anti-Bullying Week 2024 is coordinated by the Anti-Bullying Alliance. It will take place from 11th to 15th November 2024 and has the theme “Choose Respect”.

The week will kick off with Odd Socks Day on Monday 11th November, where adults and children wear odd socks to celebrate what makes us all unique.

REMEMBRANCE DAY AND REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY

As part of the National Non-Fiction Month, children are invited to create their own postcard and win a selection of non-fiction books.
