As the deadline for Priority Registration has now passed, we are delighted to have registered over 300 students to our Mathematics, Further Mathematics, English, Reasoning, Science, Biology and Economics group lessons for the Spring Term.

In this week's Senior Tutor Update, Vivek reminds parents and students that this is the last teaching week of the Term at Trefoil (although many schools will still have a further week). Two weeks ago, Vivek urged us all to make the most of the final three weeks of term and he now reflects on how well students have taken this advice on.

At Trefoil Tutors, we value the importance of maintaining an ongoing conversation between parents, tutors and students as a key factor in maintaining tutee progress and development. As the Autumn Term comes to an end, we would therefore like to invite parents to book a meeting to speak to your child’s tutor and discuss their progress throughout the academic year so far. These meetings will build on the personalised feedback the tutors upload to the online portal every week.

We would like to remind parents that the deadline for priority registration for Spring Term is next Sunday, the 26th of November.

Current students’ places in the group lessons are reserved until Friday, the 2nd of December; please make sure to book your place in the Spring Term before this deadline in order to secure your place.

On Saturday, 18th November, we held a set of 11+ mock examinations adapted to the General Paper format used at Merchant Taylors’ School in the past years.
