In this week's Senior Tutor Update video, Vivek welcomes everyone back to lessons for the final Half Term of the academic year. Vivek encourages us all to give this final six weeks the same energy and enthusiasm that we gave the first six weeks of the academic year. Vivek reminds tutees in Years 5 and 12 that they will be receiving new folders this week and further reminds all our tutees to remember the good routines we have established over the last 30 weeks. Vivek encourages students to attend lessons face-to-face as much as possible to keep up the regularity of their contact with their tutors. Finally, Vivek reminds tutees in Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 that they should be well underway with preparations for Exam Week, which will take place in Week 11.

In this week's Senior Tutor Update Video, Vivek reminds parents and students that the office will be closed between Monday 29th May and Sunday 4th June (inclusive). Vivek wishes students a wonderful break although almost all year groups have been provided with revision material. Vivek celebrates the success of the UCAS and Personal Statement Workshop event that took place on Saturday 27th May, where over 30 participants were in attendance. Finally, Vivek informs all parents that they will be receiving an email in the coming week to ask for their feedback, so as to assist our planning for the next academic year.

With exam season on the horizon, Year 11 and Year 13 students are in the final stages of preparing for their GCSE and A Level examinations. This can be an incredibly stressful time for not only students but also their parents and it can often be challenging to strike the right balance between revision and respite in the coming weeks.

In this week's Senior Tutor Update video, Vivek celebrates the feeling that Summer has truly arrived and the positive effect this has on energy and morale. Vivek wishes all the students the best of luck with their revision for assessment week in Week 6, with particular focus on our Year 11 and Year 13 students who are sitting GCSE and A Level examinations.

We are delighted to announce that last week, parents of our current students will have received information via email regarding their reserved places in our group lessons in the new academic year. These places have been reserved for our current students in line with the information provided via the Declaration of Interest forms.

We would like to remind students and parents that this is the final week of group lessons before our May Half Term break. Please note that no group lessons will be taking place between Monday, 29th May and Sunday, 4th June as our office closes for the Half Term break.

As we begin the final week of lessons before the Half Term break, we would like to remind students that they will be sitting a 30-minute assessment in their lessons this week.

In this week's Senior Tutor Update video, Vivek highlights the importance of the next two weeks. Not only due to the high volume of content taught in Week 5, but also due to a number of factors taking place outside of the classroom. On Saturday, 27th May, we will be hosting our annual UCAS and Personal Statement Workshop for pupils in Year 12 and their parents. Vivek and Rebecca will be conducting their usual academic monitoring, with a focus on students in Year 5, Year 10 and Year 12. And, of course, we start bidding farewell to our Year 11s and Year 13s as they enter their final examinations.

Mental Health Awareness week commences today, with a focus on anxiety.

Anxiety is something we all experience from time-to-time - but it is important to remember you do not have to go through it alone. If you are finding things difficult, speaking to someone might help. A number of charities have dedicated helplines and are ready to offer you their ear and support.

We would like to wish the best of luck to all students who are sitting their GCSE and A Level examinations in the coming weeks!

We know you have worked incredibly hard preparing for your examinations. Now is the time to stay focused and remember the lessons learnt during your revision and practice.
