We hope that all our students and their parents enjoyed a relaxing Half Term break. Today, Monday, the 4th of November, we resume the Autumn Term and welcome all our students back to our group lessons.

As our current Year 6 students near the final - albeit the most crucial - period of their 11+ journey, on Monday, 16th October, we held an 11+ Advice Evening for the parents of our Year 4 and Year 5 students who are embarking on their 11+ journeys now.

As we complete the first Half Term of the academic year, we are delighted to see students begin to establish good routines in their learning.

After a successful first six lessons, our Half Term Break begins today, with no group lessons taking place between the 21st and the 3rd November. Lessons will resume on the week commencing Monday, 4th November.

We are delighted to remind parents that this academic year, we continue to offer the full-year booking discount of £100 until the end of the first Half Term, on Sunday, 20th of October.

For the discount to apply, we must receive your full year payment by 5pm on Sunday, the 20th of October.

This October, November and December we will be running English, Mathematics and Reasoning mock examinations for 11+ students preparing for Grammar and Independent School examinations in October 2024, November 2024, December 2024 and January 2025.

‘Make mental health and wellbeing for all a global priority’

World Mental Health Day is a chance to talk about mental health in general and how we need to look after it. It’s so important to talk about things and get help if you are struggling.

We would like to remind Parents that students attending weekly lessons at Trefoil Tutors can use this towards the skills section of their Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

With the 11+ entrance examinations for Independent Schools fast approaching, we are delighted to confirm the dates of our Mathematics, English and Reasoning mock examinations that will take place in the coming weeks.
