We would like to take this day to celebrate the important men in our lives! Not only is November Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, but today is International Men’s Day.

The theme of this year’s International Men’s Day is “Zero Male Suicide”; the focus is to celebrate worldwide the positive value men bring to the world, their families and communities, and to highlight positive role models and raise awareness of men’s well-being.

In order to encourage students to explore different authors, styles and genres, as well as help them develop a love of literature, our Lead English Tutor Kishan has compiled a list of twelve book recommendations for each year group from Year 3 to Year 11.

Anti-Bullying Week 2024 is coordinated by the Anti-Bullying Alliance. It will take place from 11th to 15th November 2024 and has the theme “Choose Respect”.

The week will kick off with Odd Socks Day on Monday 11th November, where adults and children wear odd socks to celebrate what makes us all unique.

The Primary Maths Challenge commences this week, with Year 5 and Year 6 students competing for gold, silver and bronze certificates across the country.

We would like to take this day to remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedom. The team at Trefoil will be observing the one-minute’s silence at 11am, both today and during our lessons on Sunday morning.
