University of Oxford has released the first two weeks of lectures of the first year Oxford Mathematics degree on YouTube, alongside some accompanying materials. For students considering applying for the course, this is an indication of the mathematics covered at the start of the course.

The Intermediate Mathematical Challenge commences today, with Year 10 and Year 11 students competing for gold, silver and bronze certificates across the country.

Today, we begin celebrating National Storytelling Week!

National Storytelling Week takes place every year and is a celebration of the power of sharing stories.

Today we celebrate the International Day of Education!

On 3rd December 2018, the United Nations General Assembly declared the 24th of January as International Day of Education, in celebration of the role of education for peace and development around the world.

We are delighted to have been able to support the learning of so many children throughout the past years – this day is a great reminder to appreciate and treasure the learning opportunities accessible to us!

As we enter Week 3 of the Spring Term, we would like to remind students that this is the first assessment week of the Term. Students will be sitting a 20-minute assessment in their lessons this week. Some classes will not be given an assessment this week, for example, Reasoning students and some A Level classes. For these classes, a longer assessment will be given in Week 6. Remember to follow Vivek and Rebecca’s advice in this week’s Senior Tutor Update video and the Welcome Booklet on how best to revise!
