As tomorrow sees the first GCSE and IGCSE mathematics examinations, I thought I would share my final tips / words of encouragement with our cohort of students.

We would like to remind parents of our current students that priority registration for Set 6 of lessons as well as the 2019/2020 academic year is now open and that your place in the lessons is reserved until the 2nd of June - please do book your child's place before this date. Any places that are not booked after this date will be offered to students on the waiting list on a first-come, first-served basis. Could we kindly ask parents to fill out the reservation forms for the 2019/2020 academic year and return them to the office.

I really enjoy working at Trefoil as there are a variety of support systems, I know I can always email, text and ask for resources whenever I need. Having previously worked with other tutoring companies, the level of service and support provided by Trefoil is amazing.

We are excited to welcome back all of our students for the fifth set of lessons which begin on Monday, the 22nd of April. We hope you had a restful Easter break and we look forward to seeing you for another half-term!

Following enquiries from a number of parents, we are delighted to inform you that during the Easter holidays, we will be running Mathematics and English mock examinations for pupils who are preparing to sit their GCSE and A-level examinations in May 2019.

The Mathematics group lessons will be run by Vivek Gathani, a qualified Mathematics teacher with a PGCE from the University of Oxford and four years of experience teaching mathematics at Haberdashers’ Aske’s Boys’ School, as well as eleven years of experience of private tutoring.

English group lessons are run by Milda Sabunaite, an outstanding full-time tutor with over five years of experience in private tutoring and ten years of working with educational youth charities.

The mocks will take place at our premises in Elstree (5 Theobald Court, Theobald Street, WD6 4RN).

We would like to remind all parents of our current students that this is the last week of lessons for Set 4, which means this is the final week of priority registration for set 5. Set 5 of group lessons will begin after the Easter break, on the 22nd of April.

As we approach the end of the half-term, we would like to remind parents of our current students that priority registration for Set 5 of group lessons is now open! Your child’s place in the lessons is reserved until the 8th of April; after this date, any places that have not been booked will be offered to students on the waiting list on a first-come, first served basis.

During the last few weeks, we have asked our students’ parents for feedback regarding their experience using our services. We are grateful to have received as many as 40 responses – thank you for sharing your thoughts with us! Here are some of the results of this year’s feedback survey:

"I would definitely recommend Trefoil Tutors, not only for the skills of their individual tutors, but the structure and organisation of the group as a whole. They offer well-constructed end of term tests and end of year mock exams which allow the students a great trial run before the real thing!"

After the half-term break, we are excited to welcome all our students back for the fourth set of lessons which begin on Monday, the 25th of February. We look forward to seeing you for another half-term!
