We are happy to announce that on Monday 21st October, seven members of our staff, including group tutors and the office team, participated in a day-long Level 3 Award First Aid training. During the session, HTS Training specialist Tracey, reviewed the role and responsibilities of a first aider, how to manage unconscious casualties, how to respond to incidents involving choking or external bleeding and practiced Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
Although we hope we will never need to use these skills, we are glad to offer the additional reassurance to parents and students; once again, reaffirming our aim to bring a new level of professionalism to the services we offer.

'I have seen massive changes in her attitude to maths. She has gone leaps and bounds in confidence when approaching papers. She has learnt topics before she’s had to learn them at school, or has just had subjects reconfirmed for her during her tutoring at Trefoil. As a parent, I am very happy that we've enjoyed coming to lessons at Trefoil Tutors and we are looking to continue – especially as we have seen such improvement!'

While compulsory texts studied at school may not be every student's cup of tea, this should not be a discouragement from reading in general. Therefore, our lead English tutor Milda would like to share with you her thoughts about reading for your own pleasure and the benefits this habit may bring.
